Lifestyle at an Abbeyfield House

Friendly, welcoming house in a pleasant area. Residents are offered good food, security and companionship, whilst retaining independence.  Two home-cooked meals, lunch and supper, are provided daily. There are regular optional activities including outings and social gatherings. Each resident is supported by volunteer shadow/befriender.

These include gentle exercise to help physical fitness, other social activities include days out to places of interest, ie: garden centres, theatre, with meals out often arranged and enjoyed.   

Visiting services include chiropody and hairdressing.
