Lifestyle at Abbeyfield House

Friendly, welcoming house in a pleasant area. Residents are offered good food, security and companionship, whilst retaining independence.  Two home-cooked meals, lunch and supper, are provided daily. There are regular optional activities including outings and social gatherings. Each resident is supported by volunteer shadow/befriender.

There are weekly coffee mornings arranged where volunteers are also invited to attend. Afternoon teas which are often themed or on topics of interest. Further social activities include exercise classes, outings to places of interest, shopping, garden parties, birthday parties, knitting circle, church activities, games, with residents particularly enjoying their jigsaw puzzles and bridge drives.
