New Development in Ewell

On August 27th Purley, House committee ran a very successful soiree at Marjorie’s home.

29 people came including all Purley residents (except our 101 year old) – but the 100 year old did make it!

We gave them a lovely Tea – sandwiches, scones & cream and cakes, etc, which was followed by 4 musicians entertaining us  – 2 pianists, a violinist and a flautist, who also did vocals.

The music ranged from classical, to jazz, to more modern music.  It inspired some to get up and dance a little, sing and wave arms!

What a fantastic afternoon/evening.
