Land’s End to John O’Groats bike ride for charity – 1,000 miles in 10 days!
On 31st July, ASO Business & Operations Director, Martin King, successfully (pains and aches aside) cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats in 10 days in aid of four nominated charities – Kidney Care UK, RMA – The Royal Marines Charity, Dementia UK and SKCIN – The Karen Clifford Skin Cancer Charity. In excess of £11,900 has been raised so far.
On completion of this achievement, Martin commented:
“A lifetime of experience and emotions were squeezed together and unravelled during an epic ride that certainly made me think of the privileged position I have.”
From the furthest south-westerly point of England to the most north-easterly point in Scotland, 1000 miles covered over 10 days, our team was successful in raising funds for four fully deserving charities.
